University Advisement Center

Welcome to the University Advisement Center (UAC) website. Here, undergraduate students can find information on successfully working towards the completion of general education (GE) requirements for their bachelor's degree. The UAC advises on topics such as GE advising, overall graduation requirements, academic probation and disqualification, remedial English and Math requirements, mandatory freshman advising, and university policies and procedures.

Appointments and Walk-ins:

Appointments: Students may schedule 30-minute appointments from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.

Walk-ins: Available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.

To meet with an advisor during appointments or walk-ins, students must provide a hard copy of their Academic Requirements Report and a valid photo identification (preferably the student's CSUDH campus ID card). To schedule an appointment, students must provide their nine-digit CSUDH student ID number.

Accessing the Academic Requirements Report:

  • Log in to My.CSUDH (Mac users should use Firefox instead of Safari)
  • Click on Student Center on top left side of the screen
  • Click on the drop-down menu labeled Other Academics on the left side of the screen
  • Select Academic Requirements
  • Click Go
  • Click the blue Expand All button once the report loads
  • Click the blue Print Report link, found just under the ID number

Late Arrival Policy:

Students with appointments are given a five (5) minute grace period. After five minutes, student may need to reschedule the appointment.
