CSUDH Mental Health Professionals provide valuable information
Dr. Mekeisha Buffaloe, Psy.D, Psychological Counselor, Student Psychological Services, California State University, Dominguez Hills, will give a talk about suicide prevention in the workplace, a topic of increasing concern for businesses. The presentation will include: General Statistics; Suicide Risk Factors/Warning Signs; Suicide Risk Screening Tool Examples; SAFE-T (Suicide Assessment Five-Step Evaluation and Triage); SAMHSA; Resources for Safety Professionals; and more! The presentation will include a question and answer session.

Hospitality Health & Safety Manager Certificate Program
Our new HHSM certificate provides an overview of safety regulations governing the hospitality industry, as well as record keeping requirements and accident investigations. The program emphasizes recognition of workplace hazards and conducts risk assessments related to workplace violence, soft tissue injuries and bloodborne pathogens.
