CSUDH Educational Partnerships


The mission of the Office of Educational Partnerships is to improve college access and success for historically marginalized student populations in the South Bay of Los Angeles. Through various partnerships, programs, and services, the department aims to holistically develop students and improve their educational and social outcomes by providing tutoring, mentoring, college visits, civic engagement opportunities, and college and career readiness workshops.

Super Saturday - October 27, 2018

The purpose of the African- American Initiative is to increase college preparation, enrollment and graduation rates for African-American students. As part of that effort, we host  Super Saturday  which is designed to provide students and families with the information, tools, resources and assistance necessary to achieve their dreams of attending and graduating from college. Super Saturday targets students in middle school and high school, students in community college, parents and community leaders. The program attendees the opportunity to  learn about options for attending and paying for college; unique programs designed to prepare you for university coursework and life; the many ways to engage with your campus and fellow students; as well as student services and resources available to support your success in the classroom, on campus and beyond. Participants You have the opportunity to meet and speak directly with faculty, staff and current college students.
